SensoryCalm™ Quiet Room in Partnership with EventWell®
Our Quiet Room has been accredited to the QSSSTM Platinum Standard, the highest level of safety and supervision for quiet and sensory spaces at events. This means the room is staffed by trained hosts, monitored throughout opening hours, and set up to support anyone experiencing overwhelm, sensory overload, anxiety, or the need for a calm reset during the event.
The Platinum Standard ensures:
Continuous supervision by trained professionals who understand neurodivergence, overwhelm, and trauma-informed support.
A safe, low-stimulus space with appropriate lighting, seating, and sensory resources.
Clear safeguarding procedures are in place for attendee wellbeing, including support pathways for individuals who are distressed or unwell.
Consistent operational checks to maintain safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
A non-judgmental environment where all attendees are welcome to take a break.
By meeting QSSSTM Platinum, this event is committed to providing a genuinely safe, supportive, and inclusive space — not just a room with a sign on the door, but a properly overseen environment that helps everyone enjoy the event confidently and comfortably.
To give you the detailed information you need to work out if a place is going to be accessible to you.
To assist our visually impaired guests, we offer human signage services, ensuring a more accessible and navigable experience throughout the event. Our friendly staff are here to guide you, ensuring you can move around safely and with ease.
In every content theatre, prompting screens and live captioning are available to enhance accessibility for all attendees. This ensures that everyone can fully engage with the presentations, regardless of hearing impairments.

Our commitment to accessibility includes the provision of a portable ramp, ready to be deployed wherever needed. This ensures that stages and feature areas are accessible to everyone, promoting inclusivity and participation for all guests.
Recognising the diverse needs of our guests, we have lower check-in kiosks available for those who may require them. This ensures a smoother, more comfortable registration process for everyone, including those with mobility issues.
International Confex is proud to be hosting nine busy theatres of content at the 2026 event, and we want to ensure that the show caters to all and each session is accessible to the event community.
To ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience, reserved areas within all theatres are provided for wheelchair users. These spots offer prime viewing and are conveniently located to ensure easy access to and from the theatre spaces.
