Paul is currently Head of Business Events at VisitBritain and VisitEngland and has worked in the industry for over 18 years. VisitBritain is the national tourism agency, a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). The organizations priority is to grow the UK’s valuable business events sector by promoting its world-class destinations, venues and sectors, and driving more targeted international business events into the UK. Prior to his role at VisitBritain, Paul worked for London & Partners across their UK and citywide event division, at NYC & Company as director of sales and marketing, and before as head of Hills Balfour’s business events department working on behalf of international destination clients
