Selina's UK presence has grown steadily in the country; last year they opened their first two hotels in Manchester and Birmingham with planned openings in Brighton in August and London this autumn.

To best serve the needs of their guests and community amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Selina has implemented rigorous protocols following the recommendations from global and local health authorities. They've implemented social distancing and cleanliness procedures, limiting the occupancy at all their locations. They've reduced occupancy of community shared rooms to 50% to ensure the 6 feet social distancing recommendation. Communal spaces, F&B, working and high touch areas are sanitized five times a day. They've implemented contactless check-in together with opt-in or opt-out housekeeping services, which are wearing full protective clothing (PPE) at all times. They have available online programming for all guests through their Selina App and social media channels.

Founded in 2015, each Selina property is designed in partnership with local artists, creators, and tastemakers, breathing new life into existing buildings in exciting locations around the world -- from urban cities to remote beaches and jungles. Selina currently operates +75 locations throughout the Americas and Europe and will soon open new properties in Greece, Portugal, Israel and Germany.

We are pleased to announce that our hotels opened their doors on 4th July. We have put all measures and guidelines in place, as advised by the government and public health officials,  introducing Care by Roseate – our enhanced and remodelled operating procedure that provides greater care and ensures a safer environment to our valued customers.


We, like many are facing the new reality of the current situation, in which we have modified our capacities in order to safely hold meetings and private events to the 50%. We are ready with high speed Wi-Fi, Projectors and Screens fitted and have made additional changes to allow for video conferencing to take place. All staff have been trained and will follow protocol, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to further ensure our clients safety and confidence.

At Active Hospitality, we have been busy supporting the NHS and key workers during the lockdown period. Across our portfolio of five properties our teams have been working to implement smart working practices, so that you can come and enjoy our properties with the confidence that every measure has been considered and taken care of.


Our venues will adopt safety protocols based on Government guidelines and in-depth knowledge of our products and clients.

The majority of our properties have unique outside space and ample parking. Our indoor spaces have been redesigned to ensure good flow through for your delegates. Meeting rooms have been reformatted to reflect the latest guidelines with flexible rates.

We will include Pre-event showrounds or virtual tour to assist your preparations and we have adaptable measures to underpin the success of your meeting or event.

With our food preparations, we have creative and healthy individual lunches for your delegates and flexible dining options for overnight guests. We have made sure that we have a well-planned and managed refreshment areas and will Hygienically package all of our food options.

Every venue has regular cleaning of touch-points, to individual delegate hand sanitiser and strategically placed Behavioural Signage and wayfinding friendly reminders.

Boundary London has been the cornerstone of Shoreditch for 11 years, we’re very proud that we have been able to keep Albion open as a little safe haven for our community during this uncertain time. Our grocery has been stocked with all the essentials and the items that were hard to come by in supermarkets as well as takeaway coffee, fresh pastries and lots of great promotions on meats and alcohol. We also offered Albion’s tasty meals and our grocery essentials through Deliveroo. As of the 13th of July we are extending our delivery service to evening meals until 10pm.

Each of our rooms and suites is inspired by an iconic designer or design movement of the 20th century. In each room you’ll find a carefully curated selection of original or high quality reissue pieces, from furniture through to prints and soft furnishings. So whether you’ve always wanted to relax in an original Eames chair, or you love the game-changing modernism of Le Corbusier or Mies Van de Rohe we have a room for you. All rooms have large comfortable beds and are luxuriously appointed throughout and make for a comfortable and unique hotel experience in the heart of bustling Shoreditch.

Boundary 1We are delighted that our Rooftop, Bar & Grill re-opened  on the 4th of July. It given Boundary it’s buzz back!  Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm-11pm and Thursday to Sunday 12pm-11pm.

With the current situation we’ve made changes to ensure the safest environment for our guests. Our capacity is now a third of what is was to ensure the safest environment for our guests. On the rooftop terrace and orangery we have a capacity of maximum 4 people per group with all tables at 2m apart. The orangery will have a maximum of 8 tables with a maximum of 4 people on each table with 2 hour dining times.

We have a delicious reduced Summer a la carte menu with all the Boundary favourites as well as making the Rooftop Bar & Grill over 18’s only due to social distancing regulations in place
