Sally Lyndsay shot to fame with the St Winifred’s School choir hit ‘There’s No one Quite Like Grandma’, and then, with performing in her blood, she moved onto the cobbles of Coronation Street as Shelley Unwin. But, there is much more to this lady than meets the eye. An accomplished comedienne, actor, writer and producer, Sally has created and appeared in some of TV's best loved shows. Scott and Bailey, Mount Pleasant, Madame Blanc, Still Open All Hours. Just a few of her credits. Married to drummer Steve White (a wedding Liz planned), Sally is also a host for Channel 5's Posh Sleepover show and joins forces with Nigel Havers to experience the finest in hospitality, with the hit programme, Posh Hotels.
