Exclusive Collection, the UK’s first B Corp hotel company, is a distinctive portfolio of seven country house hotels, two spas, a championship golf course, a cookery school, and a historic pub.

Established over 40 years ago, we take pride in being custodians of our historic buildings and estates. Each property is situated close to a market town and holds a place in English history — from Lainston House’s colourful past to South Lodge, a favourite retreat of Winston Churchill, and Pennyhill Park, now building a new legacy as the home of England Rugby.

Our purpose is to create “happiness in amazing places”, and from an event perspective, we have many FTSE 100 names who are long-term, repeat clients at our hotels.

Under our MD, Danny Pecorelli, our family-owned business is known for its integrity and generosity. We strive to bring joy to everyone we encounter — from delegates and speakers to weekend guests and spa or golf members. We’re also passionate about supporting our own talent and promoting hospitality and events as exciting and rewarding careers.

Being a B Corp means we have a strong focus on sustainability and the impact we can make by using our business as a force for good. Sustainability has guided us for over 40 years, and we’ve won numerous awards, including the Campaign Experience Award for Most Sustainable Business, the AA Eco-Friendly Hotel Group accolade, and Danny’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Sustainability.

As a B Corp, we continually seek ways to reduce our impact and champion change through our people. Recent highlights from April 2024 to March 2025 include:

· The Reeds at South Lodge launched: a biophilic lodge development featuring a wild swimming lake, proving a hit with guests and attracting new, diverse, water-based wildlife.

· Carbon sequestration focus: reintroduction of habitats and hedgerows through a partnership with Land App.

· Food redistribution via OLIO: 6,773 meals shared with local communities, avoiding 12,160 kg of CO₂ emissions.

· Charitable giving: over £20,000 donated, and each of our 850 team members received a charity day to support a cause of their choice.

· Energy and water savings: a 17.7% decrease in total kWh and a 3.30% reduction in water usage, saving 3,550 m³ of water.

· Education and careers: over 100 placements with schools and colleges to explore careers in spa, wellness, and hospitality.

Alongside these achievements, we recently secured a B Corp recertification score of 94.4, up from 80.3 — a 17.5% increase ith key improvements in:

· Governance: +15% uplift in transparency and accountability.

· Workers: +14% improvement in wellness and inclusion.

· Community: +22% growth in local sourcing and charitable giving.

· Environment: +28% increase in sustainable practices.

· Customers: +2% improvement in ethical marketing and social impact.

Our focus on employee mental health and wellbeing means every event we host also supports delegate wellbeing. We’ve studied circadian rhythms and cortisol highs to enhance events and the delegate experience. Consequently, each hotel offers practices that promote networking and wellbeing, including tree climbing, forest bathing, and net-walking to complement boardroom norms. We also encourage evidence-based therapies in meetings. At our cookery school, culinary therapy helps delegates develop patience, organisational skills, and confidence.
