miaConnect Events
Our award-winning miaConnect events have become hugely popular, providing the perfect platform to connect with specially selected corporate booking agents. The MIA organises two types of miaConnect events, networking dinners and day conferences.
The miaConnect conferences involve a full-day conference covering the latest topical issues affecting our members and agents. These are held at a variety of locations throughout the UK, aiming to make the events available and accessible to everyone in the UK business meetings and events sector.
For MIA members, our miaConnect conferences provide additional networking opportunities, usually with a dinner the night before the conference (separate registration and fee required).
For agents, there are opportunities to experience venues and build product knowledge while discussing pertinent issues and sharing best practice. Many of our events also include an agent-only round table to provide a rare opportunity to discuss challenges amongst industry peers.
In addition to full conference days, the MIA hosts regular networking dinners as part of the miaConnect programme, again alternating locations around the country. These provide excellent networking opportunities in a relaxed environment. Agents rotate places between courses to ensure all suppliers get a chance to meet a wide range of participants.
