Event organisers spend months curating speaker lineups, designing session tracks, and filling rooms with the right people. Sessions run on time, content is strong, and attendees take notes furiously. Yet within 48 hours of an event ending, something critical happens. The content vanishes.

Despite hundreds of attendees scribbling notes and speakers delivering carefully crafted presentations, very little of that value persists. Attendees leave with incomplete notes, organisers struggle to demonstrate ROI, and sponsors lose visibility into what resonated. For an industry built on knowledge sharing, this content loss represents revenue left on the table.

At the CityDNA International Conference in Budapest, the organising team decided to test what would happen if it didn’t.

A four-person team used Snapsight, an AI-powered event content intelligence platform, to capture and process content across 15+ sessions without assigning a single person to monitor the platform. They printed QR codes on attendee badges, giving every participant instant access to session summaries, key themes, and translated content in their own language. No extra staff. No post-event editing queue. By the time each session ended, the content was already structured, shareable, and accessible. 65% of attendees actively engaged with the content.

That number reflects something most event teams know intuitively but struggle to solve: the value delivered inside a session room rarely makes it outside. CityDNA proved that when you remove the friction between what’s said and what’s shared, people use it.

“The events industry has relied on basic ML translation and passive transcription tools for too long. That era is over,” said Vamshi Velmajala, CEO and Co-Founder of Snapsight.

“Snapsight runs autonomous AI agents that don’t just transcribe; they listen, synthesise, and create. An event with 50 sessions running in parallel shouldn’t need five people monitoring them. Our agents handle that end-to-end, so organisers can focus on what matters: the experience in the room.”

How it works in the room

Snapsight connects directly to session audio feeds and runs AI-powered transcription at 98% accuracy, significantly above industry standard and the kind of precision that matters when a keynote on pharmacokinetics needs to stay “pharmacokinetics”, not “pharma kinetics”. Organisers can upload custom vocabularies of up to 250 specialised terms per event, ensuring technical content is captured faithfully.

As speakers present, the platform generates live captions and processes content through natural language understanding to surface personalised summaries, extract key themes, and create visual idea clouds. If a keynote centres on three strategic priorities, those priorities become shareable moments. If a panel surfaces an emerging trend, it gets captured while the audience is still in the room.

For international events, this happens simultaneously in 75+ languages through context-aware AI translation that preserves meaning, tone, and technical nuance, going well beyond the word-for-word output of conventional machine translation. Snapsight’s approach was recently recognised as the Most Innovative Event Tech Product of 2025 at the Skift Meetings Awards.

What happens after the event

This is where the economics change. Snapsight synthesises cross-session insights, generates comprehensive post-event reports, and transforms raw session audio into structured intellectual property. Patterns that emerge across an entire event programme are surfaced automatically. What was once ephemeral becomes a monetisable asset, extending event impact weeks and months after doors close.

At International Confex 2026

Snapsight will be demonstrating how the platform transforms live audio into lasting event value at Snapsight’s Stand on the ground. The team will showcase recent updates, including on-demand session uploads, custom vocabulary support, and cross-session insight synthesis that reveals patterns across entire event programmes.
