Choose 2 Rent presents sustainable innovations at Confex 2025

New product launches at the event kick-off trade fair in London 

Just in time for Confex 2025, taking place on February 26–27, Choose 2 Rent is set to showcase new products with a strong focus on sustainability. Claudia Braun, CEO & Co-Founder, shares:

Product 1: IntelliBadge made of FSC paper 

The event industry loves folded name badges that are glued together in the middle. The new IntelliBadge is sustainably sourced and, thanks to a new technology, dispenses with the label backing material, so that 100% of waste has been eliminated. This paper was developed in partnership with a renowned German material manufacturer and is available exclusively at Choose 2 Rent. 

Product 2: Eco-Lanyard II made of FSC paper  

After the Eco Lanyard I made of rPET, Choose 2 Rent now offers a second environmentally friendly lanyard, which is made of only one material. This lanyard is not only cheaper than the common multi-material variants, but it can be recycled as paper waste, while there are no disadvantages in terms of use. Available from small editions. 

Product 3: Recycle Box for Name Badges and Lanyards 

Event recycling and zero-waste concepts are often difficult when local knowledge and logistics are required. Choose 2 Rent now offers a simple solution to fully recycle name badges and lanyards cleanly separated by material. The filled Recycle Boxes are returned together with rental hardware or solo to Choose 2 Rent. Choose 2 Rent sends the materials to a recycling cooperation partner and certifies compliance after implementation. 

Product 4: Event Kiosk Pro  

Delivering a more streamlined experience for attendees whilst looking for cost savings is the ultimate aim for event organisers. The Event Kiosk Pro is of a more compact and modern design than traditional badge printing kiosks, that has an interchangeable faceplate compatible with any iPad or Microsoft Surface. It’s use of lightweight yet robust material reduces the overall weight and packaging needed thus reducing transportation costs.
