We Bring The Fun to Corporate Team Building - CDUK Case Study
Dupont / CDUK Design manufactures and distributes quality products that are beautifully specified offering a versatile and highly sought-after product within the construction sector.
Critical to the distribution opportunities are the carefully selected Quality Network Partners. Their ability to influence specification is paramount to the ongoing success of the business.
As a direct result of COVID and the restrictions placed on travel and connectivity - the Quality Networks Partners were unable to meet and explore their collective vision and strategic direction - until now!
We helped to facilitate a two-day retreat for the Quality Network Partners. Attendance was not compulsory, this allowed us to take away the element of it being perceived as 'forced fun'. We helped streamline the pre-event process and offered the client solutions to help maximise attendee uptake.
It was important for us to find the right venue for our client. After our initial research, we chose the New Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield. It provided character whilst also being conducive to a learning environment. It had plenty of outdoor space to help facilitate our experiential activities but also allowed our attendees to access areas where they could relax and unwind.
Day one provided an opportunity to network and build partnerships; engage in focus groups, share insights and learn from one another.
Day two was to help cement those partnerships with experiential activities that encourage individuals to think innovatively and to work alongside and trust their counterparts.
We helped organise a James Bond-themed treasure hunt, consisting of 007-themed challenges, 3 characters, and a whole lot of fun.
Tasks involved meeting with under-cover agents to receive further information, gathering clues from static locations, carrying out code-breaking challenges to receive rewards and investigating local places of interest.
Feedback from attendees was that the entire experience allowed them to come together, and build new partnerships and friendships.
Feedback from the client was that we exceeded the brief and successfully delivered a full wrap-around service which achieved us a further years contract with them - and we're currently planning their next summer team build.
