Thomas Brown DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer
Thomas’ professional focus is creating and disseminating great knowledge and insight to help marketers and their businesses perform better.

He is the Research Projects Manager for The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) - the world’s leading professional body for marketing. Prior to this, he held a number of management roles in product and portfolio management; proposition development; and relationship marketing. In his current role, his main focus is spread across five key activities:

• Leading the Marketing Transformation Leadership Forum, a global think tank initiative in partnership with Thomson Reuters plc, launched in 2009
• The design, development and leadership of The Institute’s Global Benchmarking Studies
• Project management of ad hoc knowledge and research projects, often working with major partners (agencies, management consultancies and similar)
• Leading key corporate relationships, partnerships and alliances
• Key spokesperson for The Institute to media, members, clients and other stakeholders covering policy, research and points of view

Thomas spends much of his professional capacity encouraging and stimulating ‘out of box’ thinking amongst colleagues and clients alike. He is a practised facilitator and speaker, and is a postgraduate qualified, Chartered Marketer.
