Last minute confirmation of hero pilot appearance at Confex

Capt Peter Burkill, who made the headlines when his British Airways Boeing 777 crashed at London Heathrow, has agreed to make a rare public appearance with Virtual Aviation on stand R321. As the aircraft accident report issued last week confirmed, it was the skill and actions of Peter and his co-pilot that ensured all 152 people onboard survived the crash.
Peter’s ability to respond to this crisis was largely due to the training he received. Like all professional airline pilots, Peter was continually trained and assessed using full flight simulators. Virtual Aviation, who are exhibiting at Confex International for the first time this year, offer the public privileged access to fly these £10m ultra realistic flight simulators.
As part of a new offering in corporate events, Virtual Aviation will be at Confex to promote their bespoke team building, client entertainment and staff incentive and reward packages.
Peter will be on stand R321 on Tuesday 23 February and Wednesday 24 February, and each day he'll be giving a short presentation at approximately 11.30, 14.00 and 16.30.
