Europes First Mobile Zip Line

Extreme Adventure is launching Europe’s first Mobile Zip Line for 2012. It is a revolutionary concept in mobile entertainment. Get an edge for your event and offer an activity that is guaranteed to exceed the expectations of your most discerning clients.
It has taken two years of pain staking design refinement to bring the first commercially available mobile zip line in Europe

The ride is easily accessible by staircase to the Launch Platform. At the Launch Platform the rider enters the Launch Barrel which protects them from fall exposure until they are safely connected to the zip line. When the operator rotates the Launch Barrel into position the rider is then able to take the leap of faith. The initial drop takes your breath away but smiles all the way down and the first question the rider asks at the “ can I have another go ?”

We have fitted a device called the Auto-Retract that slows the last 10’ (3m) of the ride. It is a mechanized device that replaces the old method of stopping zip line riders by hand. It also returns the trolley to the top of the zip line, hence the name “Auto-Retract.” This innovative brake technology solves one of the most dangerous aspects of zip lines – the stop. This means every rider on every Zip will be slowed in a consistent and safe way.


The Mobile Zip Line is easy to setup. The Launch Platform stands at 9m and towers into place at the touch of a button. Zip lines are secured and the two 40 Kg inflatable walls are positioned as a backup stop device. It has a capacity of 120 per hour and has two Zip Lines set up side by side. Setup time is around 35 minutes.
