Follow us on Twitter @trinityparkUK @theapexvenue MEDIA RELEASE December 2011 “VENUE SUFFOLK” SET TO REINFORCE REGION’S MESSAGE AS LEADING HOST

TWO leading venues from East Anglia are uniting under the banner ‘Venue Suffolk’ to showcase premier conferencing facilities just a short journey from the Capital.

The Apex in Bury St Edmunds and Trinity Park in Ipswich are to exhibit alongside one another at the International Confex 2012, showing how ideal East Anglia is as a host in the Olympic year.

On Stand No. 251 at International Confex (hosted at ExCEL London - 06-08 March 2012) the two very distinct venues will outline the full range of services on offer to meet the needs of event organisers large and small.
Julie Warren, Development Manager at The Apex, said that exhibiting with Trinity Park as ‘Venue Suffolk’ will showcase the best that the county has to offer and give conference organisers and businesses many reasons to book events outside London.
She said: ‘This is the first time we’ve exhibited at International Confex and we hope that by coming together with Trinity Park we’re able to open visitors’ eyes to two very modern, flexible and cost effective alternatives to London-based venues.’
Christine Bond, Commercial Manager of Trinity Park Events Ltd, said: ‘This is a great way to showcase the high quality conference facilities which Suffolk has to offer, all within 90 minutes travelling distance of London.’
Both venues offer first class conferencing and business facilities. The Apex, which is in the heart of the market town of Bury St Edmunds, is a state-of-the-art building boasting a main auditorium seating up to 600 and a unique flexible floor and seating system.
Set in 300 acres on the edge of Ipswich, Trinity Park is home to an award-winning conference and events centre with flexible layouts, meeting rooms and park land.
Both venues are easily accessible from London.
Trinity Park is a stone’s throw from the A12/A14, with parking for several thousand vehicles, and The Apex is just minutes from the A14 with ample parking and only 10 minutes from Bury St Edmunds railway station.
