In-house CV clinic
Housed within the centre is the increasingly popular CV clinic, which offers a free consultancy service to anyone looking to improve their working lifestyle. Manned by a recruitment expert, the clinic offers a CV healthcheck to anyone from students starting out in the market to experienced association and corporate buyers who need their CV’s freshened up to redundancy advice. Information on the agencies exhibiting at the show will also be available.

Meet the speakersCome and meet some of the presenters from the Confex Conference programme in the Advice Centre. You can pose your questions to them and discuss any key issues resulting from their presentation. Some of the speakers may be hosting Book Signing sessions on the day. More information will be available nearer the time. |
Education zoneFree help, guidance and support is available to all visitors, whether you are a Student embarking on an Events Management Course, or are an experienced conference organiser seeking to enhance your personal development skills. Information is available on training courses and open learning modules. |
Media libraryAll the latest publications and trade magazines covering the Conference and Events industry will be on display within the Advice Centre. Copies are available for you to take away, together with information on how to subscribe. |
Information centreThere is a comprehensive library of information for you to review and a host of FREE fact sheets and guides to either take away or download onto your PC. We can even arrange to email copies for you to share with your colleagues. These include:

Expanded library
On display within the Centre will be a comprehensive range of books on all aspects of Event Management, many of which are not to be found in the high street. You can order any of these books online within the Advice Centre. |

The Centre will house dedicated online links to key websites on the events industry for you to browse and try out. These include venue searching, information portals, technology innovations, networking forums that you can join, online newsletters to subscribe to and many other useful websites that you may not have been aware of. |
Events membership clinicFind out how you can improve the way you do business and raise your own profile within the industry. On Wednesday 24th February at 2:00pm, the QE11 Conference Centre will be holding a short presentation in the Advice Centre.
