Association Day provided an exclusive stream of high-level seminars and networking opportunities for both UK and International associations. A comprehensive tailored programme and line-up of leading speakers was designed to extend visitors' business knowledge on a range of topics.
Two high level keynotes took place with BraveNewTalent.com's Lucian Tarnowski opening the seminar programme. Tarnowski founded the social recruiting website and was named Europe's youngest Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum at just 26 years old.
Tarnowski was followed by Lord Tom King, who served in the cabinet from 1983-1992, and will discuss how associations can build relationships within the government.
Delegates could also take part in informal 'Meet the Expert' workshop sessions which provided practical advice on subjects such as sponsorship and fundraising, marketing and communication, legislation and governance, human resource and congress management.
